BLYMYER ENGINEERS ANNOUNCES ENGINEERING COMPLETION OF 13 CAMPUS / 2.738 MW PV PROJECT FOR FRANKLIN McKINLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT IN SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA

(Alameda, CA) Blymyer Engineers Announces engineering completion of 13 Campus / 2.738 MW PV project for Franklin McKinley School District in San Jose, California

Blymyer Engineers, a Commercial, DSA (Division of the State Architect), and Utility renewable energy engineering consulting company has completed full detailed electrical and structural design of 13 campuses totaling 2.738 MW for Franklin McKinley School District in San Jose, California. The electricity generated by the Franklin McKinley School District PV project will help power its respective campuses. The project was developed by Chevron Energy Solutions.

The Franklin McKinley School District canopy-mounted PV system is comprised of 10,332 265 watt mono-crystalline solar modules manufactured by LG Display Co Ltd. (ADR). The solar modules are mounted on Blymyer’s 4th Generation DSA pre-checked canopy design. Blymyer’s 4th Generation pre-check canopy designs meet all DSA requirements. Blymyer Engineers is currently working closely with DSA to ensure maximum compliance with its 5th Generation DSA pre-check canopy design.
