Waste Water Treatment System Design

  • Carlisle, Pennsylvania
Blymyer Engineers, Inc. was retained by our client to provide turn-key engineering design and construction services required for the selection and layout of a new waste water treatment system. The system was designed to lower zinc concentrations in truck wash effluent to comply with the facility’s existing discharge permit. Our scope of work included selection of the appropriate process equipment that would meet facility and environmental requirements, detailed design of the new installation, and procurement and installation of the equipment. We also helped negotiate a new industrial waste water discharge permit and set up an on-going sampling and maintenance program for the facility.
