Blymyer Engineers is exhibiting at Intersolar North America 2020 in San Diego, California. Intersolar is one of the largest tradeshows in North America focused on solar energy and energy storage. Attendees include the industry’s top manufacturers, innovators, and professionals, and organizers estimate that more than 14,000 people attended the event in 2018. The event will take place February 4-6, 2020.

A fresh start for Intersolar
Intersolar now has a new location, dates, and organizer. The event will be held in San Diego for the first time in 2020, after it was cancelled in 2019. Intersolar was held in San Francisco in July for more than 10 years. Solar Promotion International recently sold Intersolar North America to Diversified Communications, an event organizer based in Maine.
According a report in PV Magazine, the show’s new organizers moved the show in response to affordability issues with San Francisco. Organizers have also moved the event to February, making it the first solar and energy storage-focused event for the 2020 calendar year.
“The reasons for the move to San Diego make sense,” notes Blymyer Director of Engineering Greg Mazur, who plans to attend Intersolar North America. “San Diego is a beautiful city, and may be more affordable option. The new dates should also add to the appeal of Intersolar. It will be the first opportunity for many industry professionals to see 2020 offerings from solar and energy storage manufacturers.”
He adds, “I’m looking forward to networking and seeing the latest innovations at Intersolar North America in San Diego in February. If you’re considering attending, make plans to stop by our booth. Intersolar is shaping up to be a don’t-miss-it event for industry participants.”
