Powering the future with energy storage

As of today we’ve completed energy storage projects
with a total capacity of 4,500 MWh.

Blymyer Engineers designs Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) that support both utility-scale and distributed-generation projects, helping to build a resilient and reliable national grid. Blymyer has completed design for energy storage projects with a total capacity of 4500 MWh.

Experienced at all levels of BESS design, our engineers excel at both custom solutions and connecting multiple large-scale rechargeable lithium-ion battery stationary energy storage units, responding to project, site, and client requirements.

As renewable energy projects play a greater role in our national grid, storage and distribution of that energy are becoming critical to its performance. Blymyer is at the forefront of the development of utility-scale and distributed-generation battery energy storage systems that are amplifying the benefits of solar and wind energy generation.

IRA sets the stage for US energy storage to thrive

The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) signed into law in August significantly improves the economics for large-scale battery storage projects in the U.S. For the first time, standalone storage systems will be eligible for a 30 percent investment tax credit (ITC) — and up to 70 percent with additional incentives.
