Blymyer Engineers plans to participate in North American Smart Energy Week 2021 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Our team will be at Booth 1639 in the first-floor exhibit hall. The event runs from September 20 through September 23 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Organizers expect more than 19,000 people to attend.

Smart Energy Week includes Solar Power International (SPI), Energy Storage International, and Wind Energy International. This year, organizers added Electric Vehicle International to the event, further solidifying the importance of the Smart Energy Week for professionals interested in the renewable future.

“Smart Energy Week has grown from its roots in solar to include a range of technologies,” says Blymyer President Mike Rantz. “The Blymyer team has attended for many years. We’re especially excited about this year’s event in New Orleans. It’s a chance for project development, contracting, technology, and engineering leaders to come together.”

Attending a Safe Event

Last year’s Smart Energy Week 2020 was entirely online due to health and safety concerns caused by the global pandemic. This year’s in-person event will feature a number safety measures, including face mask requirements, sanitation stations, and regular disinfecting. People will also have the option of attending virtually. If you’re planning to attend in person, register before June 17, 2021 to get a discounted rate.

“For many in the industry, Smart Energy Week will be a welcomed return to in-person networking,” says Rantz. “It couldn’t come at a more exciting time, with the use of all renewables accelerating. We’re delivering more solar, wind, energy storage, and vehicle-charging projects each year. Smart Energy Week and SPI gives us a chance to connect with others in those industries and to exchange ideas. Please stop by Booth 1639 to say hello if you’re at the event.”
